1. Looks great to me.
I used to love chicken tikka masala, especially the sauce. Do you know how to make the sauce or what you can order in the restaurant that is meatless but uses the sauce?

4. Sounds wonderful to me.
You've got everything covered. The biggest flaw non-vegetarians usually make is creating a meal of all side dishes, or assuming vegetarians only eat vegetables or starches, but you've got the veggies, the starch, the protein, and enough flavor and variety to make me salivate at the moment... sorry, almost lunch time, my mind wandered.

Now you have to worry about beverage and dessert. :)

7. that sounds delicious!
Try something mango (maybe mango ice cream? you can google recipes) for dessert, to go with your Indian menu. I assume you're posting your menu because you're fishing for more guests, right? ;-)

10. WOW - That sounds great!
Do you have room at the table for another place setting?

The only other thing I would suggest is a flatbread like pita (cut like a pie) since you have dahl, curry, and paneer and all of those lend themselves to scooping. If you have an Indian food store around, pappadom would be even better.

15. It was just a suggestion.
I try to limit starch intake so flatbread is a good alternative.

That still sounds like a FABULOUS offering!

18. I'm partial to fresh apricots sliced into plain yogurt with cinnamon and nutmeg.
It sounds weird, but garnishing it with chopped fresh parsley ads a curious zing to it.

22. Yes, that's it. I forgot the name.
My wife and I have been vegetarians since '89 (and all three of my daughters are as well). My kids all love red lentil dahl, but that's probably because we made almost all of their baby food and that was a common feature. We would cook it and freeze it in ice cube trays and then put it in zip lock bags in the freezer so we could pull out a cube and microwave it. For some reason, the red lentil type was always a favorite (and still is), but now they like it with heavy garam masala spicing.

Dang, I may have to make that tonight. I've got the lentils.

20. Yum... any chance you would post some recipes?
Not now, of course, but when you have time? Perhaps in the veggie forum.

Demmikid is just recently liking the Indian flavors.

Happy dinner... it sounds wonderful!
