can you get buzzed on the absithe they sell in the U.S. now?

I've read conflicting reports. Wormwood, yes, is used, but the thujone is filtered out.

And by "buzz" I mean a special kick beyond alcohol.

If so, what brands? About 4-5 to choose from at the Mega Liquor Mart here in town.

5. I saw a documentary about a scientist who reverse engineered a batch of actual absynth

and he developed Lucid in doing so. It was on the DISC channel a while back. I dont know anyone who has actually tried it yet. All of my experimental-minded friends went soft when they got married and got real jobs after college.
