Woo-hoo! I'm going to do a wedding for two women, and it will be legal!!!
I'm officiating at a wedding of two women in late May, and we're going to drive to Iowa the day before, do a brief service, and then I'll SIGN THE WEDDING LICENSE!!! This is very exciting!! I can do weddings for same sex couples in Illinois, but there's no license to sign. My native state, though, will start issuing licenses to ALL couples tomorrow. This is soo important. Now, I can do this wedding, and no one can say it isn't a "real marriage". It is!!!

And some day, we won't have to drive across the river!
