How are you today? Did you have a good weekend? I did. Saturday I was puttering around my place. Yesterday I first went to a Garden here in Frankfurt and then went for a walk. Which wasn't such a good idea after all, my foot is hurting again. Walked too much I guess.
This morning I decided to do an update on our library software (I got the CD last week). Of course it isn't running smoothly :eyes: Why should computer stuff run without problems. Oh well, it will get solved at one point. Already called the hotline and wait now for them to call me back.

I had a pleasant weekend. Went out with an old friend Saturday night and got out of town a little bit. Yesterday my family celebrated mt step-sister's birthday at a seafood restaurant. I broke through the 60 pound barrier on my weight loss deal. I'm weighing in a 229.8 currently. Got a little ways to go, but I feel a lot better. Do you guys use the same units of measurement as us as far as weight goes?

Things were really crazy here in the lounge over the weekend. I'm about to write a tribute to it here in a minute.

I had a nice weekend too. I spent all day without Internet yesterday :scared: but spent a lot of time in the sun.

I also had a nice visit with an old friend - had to fill her in on life. She was very happy to hear what's going on ;)

The weekend was nice here, just a bit too hot, it went from 60 to 90 over night. The cold's gone, I'm just in need of some normal temps to come back.

It was gorgeous over the weekend but this week it is supposed to get cooler again. Then we will have temps in the 50s and 60s. After a week with temps in th 70s.

being tourists in Key West, which she loves to do. And visit the Botanical Gardens.

We'll play tennis and go eat at the Schooner Wharf.

Other than that, just hang out on the dock at home.

Does your Mom live far from you? Mine lives in NC and I'm down here at the end of Florida, but at least she can fly free.

Sorry you overdid your foot ... but I'm glad you had a good weekend! :bounce:

We came home on Saturday. Wasn't exactly without incident because the car got too enthusiastic coming over the last big hill on the highway and there was a speed trap. Oops!

And we got home to a new garden in the back. Beautiful! K wanted to surprise us and she did. Kitties and doggies were all happy and healthy. They hardly missed us at all! We sat on the porch with them and they just plopped on the floor as if this was what they had done all week. The house had been cleaned and D had even taken the trash to the dump. :wow:

So yesterday we just sat around and read. It was a beautiful day and perfect for it. The lilacs are in bloom, so the porch smells wonderful.

Didn't harleydad send you a pic from his blackberry? Oh, what a funny thing that was! Went into the bathroom on Friday, just after they finished cleaning my hotel room, and there were bubbles coming out of the toilet. They were all over the floor and everything. So I called the desk and they came over, flushed it a few times, but every time they flushed, more bubbles came. :rofl: Finally, the guy looks up at me and says, "Do you want to move to another room?" So I said sure. Got one with a view of the lake, which I'll know to ask for next time. So I got all moved (for the 3rd time that week!) and then we went to the fish place for supper. Yep, I had crab legs, but they were Alaskan King Crab. Never had them before and I LOVED them. Anyway, there was a swan begging for scraps so we fed him while we ate. The waiter brought some packs of crackers so we wouldn't have to keep feeding him scraps of our very expensive supper. Then harleydad decided to snap a pic and send it to you. :rofl:

Had a good weekend. Got to train with my tai chi teacher before he went to China for a month, did a 10K training run, and went to renfest on Sunday. The weather was fantastic both days; hot on Saturday, very warm on Sunday. A great time was had by all! :thumbsup:

Well my weekend got screwed over because of the rape joke debacle at the karaoke bar Friday. :grr:

(in case you missed that thread my friend, her BF, my GF, and I were at the bar and these assholes at the table next to us started talking about how they were going to "rape some drunk whores" or something like that, which caused my friend to start having flashbacks of her rape and so we had to leave to get away from the assholes.)

Hadn't been in about 10 years, so it was fun to relive some of my favorite rides along with the newer ones...As I was walking through Germany I thought to myself, "If only Ms. Honey Church could see the precision with how we've been able to replicate the look and feel of her home country!:crazy: Nothing kitschy, stereotypical or overly commercialized about this place at all! When I was in FL in the late 90s I visited Disney World and there the EPCOT Center. So I know exactly what you mean :)
The fun part was I called my dad from there and told him "I am in Germany". Silence on the other side. "You are WHERE?????". "In Germany". Giggle. I was only supposed to come back a week later. It is fun to make fun with your dad :D

48. I've been to EPCOT twice

once when it first opened (it was truly the 8th wonder of the world in those days) and again in 1994 when it really paled in comparison to the newer parks surrounding it...

but i try not to give Disney too much of my money, since they support the fascisms :silly:
