Why have they redesigned the back of the penny?
I thought we were debating removing the penny from circulation. I realize that it would probably never happen, but did we really need to make changes and waste money to redesign the most useless coin? In 2006 it cost 1.23 cents to mint a penny and 1.7 cents in 2007. Who knows how much it costs now with new metal prices. Dont most people have several pounds of pennies sitting in bottles and jars?

Here are the new pics

3. because this country is narcissistic
I don't know how to explain what I mean. It's part that we take ourselves too seriously. It's in part our arrogance, our "were number one!" attitude. It's part our overblown sense of importance. This country is in love with itself.

Like I said, I don't know how to explain what I think about this.

4. Somebody at the US Mint was bored one night.
They slipped it in and nobody noticed.
