(Truth be told, Appenzellers are the most conservative Swiss. That's not a state where you'd want to try to get Swiss citizenship. The federal government allows communities and states a lot of latitude in determining who gets citizenship, and Appenzellers have been known to -- no joke, you can Google it -- give cheese-identification tests to foreigners as a condition of citizenship. :lactose-intolerant: )

And last fall, the Kraft mac-and-cheese was confiscated from my Thanksgiving/Christmas care package from Oklahoma by the PURIST BASTID Swiss Customs agents. I hope those PURIST BASTIDS and their PURIST (most likely Appenzeller) FAMILIES had great, cheezy Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, because I didn't.

But I'm not bitter. Not a bit. :grr:
