I have completely solved the singing along with the radio, CD problem in the car.
I honestly don't give a rat's ass what people think when I'm singing along, but I am worried that one of these freeper assholes will wreck their car trying to figure out who I'm talking to. :eyes:

So, I decided to wear my bluetooth all the time. People would naturally assume I'm on the phone. Brilliant. Yup. I thought so, too.

Now, I have to figure out a way to explain away the drumming on the steering wheel.

8. Yeah, not a fan. It hurts after a while.
But I need it for when I go to the office in NYC. The other headset sucked.

Plus, it's cool.

10. Yup. But you can still see in.
Now? The problem is irrevocably solved.

God. I wish I thought of this years ago.

4. Now you only have to explain why you're singing Living on a Prayer to somebody on the phone.

5. No. I didn't say I would be ON the phone. I'm just PRETENDING to be on the phone
so I can rock out.

Personally? I think this is an absolutely farkin' brilliant plan.

The drumming on the steering wheel and the hitting of imaginary cymbals and hi-hats? Yeah, still working on that.

11. That's easy - just duct tape an old computer keyboard to your steering wheel
They'll think you're just blogging :P

14. Nope. I crank that volume up and go at it.
I was in a band in the 80s, so, you know, old habits die hard.

I'm now in my Grace Slick phase. That woman has quite a set of pipes.

17. THE REICH STUFF - Grace Slick
http://www.blender.com/guide/68333/worst-onstage-meltdowns.html

The first German show of Jefferson Starship’s 1978 European tour ended in a riot when mercurial singer Grace Slick couldn’t play due, she insisted, to an upset stomach. The next night, Slick pepped herself up by drinking the entire contents of her hotel minibar before arriving at Hamburg’s Congress Centrum. When not fondling guitarist Craig Chaquico, Slick mimicked a Nazi goose-step, asked the audience “Who won the war?” and gave the “Heil Hitler” salute. Stumbling into the crowd, she reportedly groped several female onlookers before jamming her finger up a man’s nose. “I’m in Germany and I’m gonna get back at them for Dachau,” she later explained. Recorded for German TV, the concert was never broadcast, and Slick left the band immediately afterwards.

19. Clever!
Me, I just don't give a shit. I sing like an idiot and don't care who sees me. (Then again, there are no traffic jams in my area, so nobody really gets a good look at the maniac behind the wheel.)

Once in a while I lean my left elbow on the car door and cup my hand over my ear to hear how I'm holding up, vocally, and I perversely wish that a cop would pull me over for talking on my cell phone while driving (it's illgal in NYS) and I can innocently say I was just singing, not talking on the phone. I figure my phone records could prove it if needed.

YES it's sick that I've thought that out.
