1. Rubber gloves are pretty useless as protection from virus.

3. Yeah, I thought it was strange too
I didn't hear anything about using rubber gloves to protect yourself from the flu.But there he was, wearing those bright blue gloves.

10. I have been riding the bus for twenty years
and although I have seen a lot of drivers wear driving gloves, this is the first time I have seen one wearing rubber gloves.

5. Is it just me, or is 1,600 people getting sick in a city of 10 million
not really worthy of the panic coverage the media is giving it? I mean, how many broken bones do the city hospitals treat in a day? How many cases of pneumonia?

14. Meanwhile, tuberculosis rages
Two million deaths per year. Nine million new cases per year. The world's greatest infectious killer of women of reproductive age and the leading cause of death among people with HIV/AIDS. I don't trust the M$M to ever put anything into perspective. Is the flu a concern? Sure. So are a lot of other things.

TB is nasty. Worse than the flu IMHO. I halfway think that the MSM wants this to become worse because it would "look great on the TV"
