Cute kitteh pics! (No, really!)

A neighborhood Momcat had her litter in my basement -- this has happened repreatedly over the years -- I guess the address is on the kitteh "suckers" list. :P She had them in a ceramic pot -- yes, in a large, dirty pot.



Mom is a black DSH, and clearly the Daddy-o was a tabby



They are just three weeks old today. They have gone haltingly mobile -- like furry Weebles, tipping over a lot, exposing little bellies that need kisses badly.



No idea of sexes yet. They were kitteh blobs just last Friday and now seem to have erupted in personality almost overnight.



Have found great homes for the kids -- still trying to find if someone in the neighborhood "owns" Momcat, if not, hopefully can find a new home for her (after spaying). I would keep them all if I had the $$$ and room -- I am full up with 5 (including another Momcat I took in). It will delightful to have them around for at least a little while. :)

1. Oh my goodness! SQUEEEEE!

I found my boys when they were just two weeks old so I am very familiar with little blobs like this. SO CUTE, my heart just broke in a million pieces.

at that point! :D It was all about the breakfast bar and cat piles for them for those first few weeks.

And they are insanely cute.

6. Now my guy is nearly 16 (his brother died almost 6 years ago) and he's a big fat blob!

8. Several of my guys are blob cats.

And they are heading into 15 year range. One, Jack, has one eye, and looks like a sumo wrestler but is the sweetest, most gentle cat you could ever meet.

5. I really don't know what...

the two darker ones are going to end up looking like. At first I though they were going to be black cats, but they have a lot of stripping in their undercoats and are more smoky colored than true black. And one has a small white spot on their belly and a lot of white hairs on their front paws. :shrug:

The little tabbies are classic looking with stripes and spots galore!

22. My friend Peter...

showed up yesterday and unloaded a 10 minute rant abouy how shitty his day was and how much he hated the corporate landscape he is forced to work in.

I pulled him over to my computer and forced him to look at kitteh pics for a few minutes -- I told him he needed the soul-healing power of The Kittehs! :D

I always start my day at LOLCats page -- gets me in a good mood. :hi:

needs fosters for pregnant/new cat moms. The SPCA here always needs folks to care for litters. The hard part for you will be letting them go. :cry: :hi:

will have to wait till my job situation stabilizes before I decide to do good works that will cost money. I also want to foster child in Africa.

I saw where if a hobo found a house with a "kind lady" (someone who would give the hoboes food) they would draw the face of a cat somewhere on the property as a notice to other hoboes.

The "kind lady" sign on my house must be HUGE. :D Everybody shows up there eventually -- racoons, skunks, oppossums, pregnant cats, lost birds -- it is a regular menagerie at my house -- and I love it!

27. Yes they are!

I noticed the squabbling starting the past few days -- all of a sudden it's like they hate each other -- lots of pushing, lots of batting, lots of sitting on heads, lots of angry, tiny squealing.

One is getting the brunt of it -- he's like the kid in the class everyone picks on because he smells funy, :( He has been getting a little bit of extra "love" from The Big Hand that appears from nowhere to give finger-tip belly rubs. :)

they are all people I know are "Cat Whores" -- 100% devoted to their kittehs. Two of the people recently lost older and sick kittehs they adored, and the other already has one that is treated like a feline Princess.
