in the clouds. Dam. The job wasn't perfect for me. There was lots of product (and alot of boxes for each one of those products)which I had to remember. And not enough to do during a shift so I would think about the past as it is a quiet time of year. I glad I will not be in that situation anymore. Probably for the best all the way around but dam if it doesn't sting. Thankfully I have another job to fall back on.

7. I can't tell you how many times I had to go back to the store to lock the safe
If I was ever caught, I would have been fired. Lucky me. Sorry to hear you got canned.

10. My drawer was always $20- $40 short.
I had always dropped it in the safe, it was always there but what a hassle for everybody. I swear those bills laughed at me and jumped into the envelope after I'd counted them five times. My boss came to expect it but *I* couldn't sleep until they found the money. ARgh. I would have fired me.

11. Same thing with me.
It took everyone else 10 minutes to do the bookkeeping. Me...I'd be at it for an hour and STILL not get it right. The manager always came in the next morning and found the shortage.

19. See I don't have a problem in that area. When I need to concentrate I can focus. I just chose not to
focus when I was locking up. Silly me. Thanks for your post.

8. I often go all the way back
just to make sure I locked the daggone door. I always have, but it's like that "did I leave the coffee pot on" sort of thing.

I'm sure the time I think I must have will be the time I didn't.

Sorry about you getting fired :(
