Brett Favre's next move?
Brett Favre has been released by the NY Jets, so now he's a free agent.

The most common rumor is that Favre is going to Minnesota, to play with the ViQueens.

They can have 'im!

3. Please let that diva asshole retire and fade the fuck away.
I know he got lots of credit for his supposed "love of the game" by jumping around and acting like a dildo every time he did something good, but I could never stand that prick. If he loved the game so much, he wouldn't have disgraced it by laying down for Strahan. The only good thing he ever did was kill the Jets' season by refusing to come out when he should have - the one time his selfishness paid off for me.

4. I'm still laughing at Green Bay, the morons.
they cut Favre and go from 13 wins to a losing season. Meanwhile Brett takes the lowly Jets from the cellar to a playoff run before injuring his arm. The Packies GM almost make Jerry Jones look good. I said almost.

5. No, no, no.
Detroit had a losing season.

Green Bay is rebuilding.
I have hopes for the coming season.
And I really hope Minnesota gets Favre, with his constant throwing passes to the opposing teams.

6. Green Bay had a lost season.
One doesn't go from a 13 win season to a rebuilding year.

And Brett only throws to opposing teams when his own team is too cheap to buy him some receivers. Unlike the stat-padding QBs out there, he actually tries to win games rather than protecting his rating, and sometimes that results in interceptions. Sometimes it results in him winning games he had no business winning, too.

As for Detroit... Not even God could help them.

7. Honeymooning with John Madden.
Why do you think Madden recently retired? Now he and Bret are free to travel the country, and enjoy their golden years together.

18. Can I assume...
that you do not know the taxpayers in MN are not going to fund a new stadium and that the league has explored moving them to LA ala the Lakers. No stadium = no team

17. he says he did
But the Jets released him yesterday, which is kind of a weird thing to do for a retired player..This sounds like he wants to see if any other teams are interested in him..

21. The release is a formality
He's going to sign a one-day contract with Green Bay, so he can retire a Green Bay Packer. Other teams have done the same thing over the years.

Favre has already filed his retirement paperwork with the league; he's out.

:woohoo:
