6. That's the shock and grief. We always try to make sense of it.
There is no sense. You'll chase the details around in your brain hoping they align into an answer that makes you feel better or else lets you feel bad all at once so you can get over it. But it won't happen like that. There is no why, there's just the details you have to accept. Not that you can really tell yourself that and have it help you. Grief is a condition that takes time to heal. That whole "trying to make sense of it all" is the hardest part.

11. A good old friend of KW’s with whom she hadn’t spoken for a year.
She says they stopped speaking and didn’t make up due to her pride.

8. A horrible thing for everyone who knew her,
and I feel for you. I lost someone that way too.

But honestly, I think it might be one of the better ways to go. It's quick.

Good friends are hard to come by and even though you hadn't spoken in a while doesn't make that friendship any less important. I hope you find some comfort for your agony because I know it's hard to lose someone your love. :grouphug:

And as others have said, at least it was quick, although that's good for her more than for your own pain.

The quick deaths are easiest on the person dying, and so damn hard on everyone else...

Be gentle with yourself, be good to yourself...

21. I am so sorry about your friend, I know how you feel.
My dear friend also had a brain aneurysm, she is still alive but has brain damage.

My friend is gone, she doesn't know anybody.

I miss her very much.

We had a few words, very minor a few days before her aneurysm.

The Doctors don't know if she will get better or not, time will tell.

My friend was very active, now she just sits in a wheel chair.

All I can say is enjoy the good times you had, and forget about the rest.

Sometimes if there are words and feelings left unsaid, it helps to write it down in a letter to that person. Even though their physical presence is no longer here, they'll hear your words.
