Who's bored senseless?
:hi:

I'm trapped in the house by floodwaters that are slowly receding. I'm supposed to be 'working' at home, but the hell with that. I'll send some emails this evening.

Anyone else?

1. You should take up a hobby.
I hear button-collecting can be pretty absorbing. :eyes:

I spent the day "working" *cough* on a spread sheet. Also, I messed around with my Twitter account, still can't believe I signed up to do that. And I posted a little bit here in the Lounge. Just another thrilling day in the life. Took a picture of my new boots, too. ;)

:hi: Stud!

2. ooooo spreadsheets!
:boring:

Twitter: I understand from an NPR story that after about 30 days, people are dropping out of Twitter and that the Twittersphere is ultimately unsustainable.

New boots! Does it never end for you and your glamorous lifestyle?

:hi: sweetie!

3. I think NPR is probably right. I don't know if I'll even make it to 30 days.
It's mildly amusing, but it won't hold my interest for long. I am far too busy living my glamorous life to be bothered with these trivialities. B-)

I am glad you survived the flood!

Hope your home didn't flood.

We got >12" of rain Monday night. Thanks, texanwitch - we didn't get water in the house. :hi:

6. Y'all got really hit this time.
I could tell from my house, the lighting was awesome.

Glad your house is OK.

We got the same thing in 2001, that was when I-10 flooded.
