Ok, so I'm not feeling so great.

I've been having "flu-like" symptoms since Monday evening. They aren't severe symptoms, just enough to make me feel kind of shitty. A mid-range fever, chills and body ache, fatigue, and messed-up guts. I don't have a sore throat or any respiratory symptoms but I'm getting a little worried.....I live in Southern California. I don't want to be one of those people who panics and rushes to the doctor or needlessly exposes myself to the germs in the medical clinic. What would you do? Does anyone have any more specific details on the symptoms of swine flu? "Flu-like" symptoms seems pretty general to me. :shrug:

Bed rest and fluids...even if it happens to be the swine flu..(unlikely) its pretty mild for the most part here. Isolate yourself if you are worried as well.

2. Well, I'd love to isolate myself, but my company has deadlines.

One I'm involved with is coming up at the end of this week. Also, I don't get sick pay because I'm only part-time. It's really a hard call to make.

That's it's just food poisoning. If I don't feel better in the morning, I'll call the doctor, though, and see what she says.
