She seems less lethargic today, even though she's still getting codeine every 8 hours to control the cough. Her appetite is improving, too--she's really diggin' the peanut butter, codeine, antibiotic and dog food sandwiches. I really think she might have liked a walk today, though I'm not quite sure she's up to it yet. Right now, she's outside enjoying her late night pondering the universe from the back porch time. And she hasn't coughed too much at all tonight. Nothing at all compared to Sunday night.

You do worry about 'em when they're sick, don't ya though?

One of my perm kids has an e-collar necklace tonight (ear hematoma Monday night) and he's been really unhappy for the past couple days.

Sounds like she's coming out of the kennel cough well. Good news.
