It is pouring rain in Key West.
We haven't had rain in months.

This makes me happy.

2. Wow,
Someone is up at this hour other than me.

Yes, the Keys are the best.

And it is still raining!

3. heh - I'm on creative time - clocks don't mean much... : )
Key West rain is good rain - unlike NY rain which chills you to the bone and stays gloomy for days... I remember Key West rain being more like a big bucket being poured out all at once - then it's over and dries up. NY rain is constant, relentless, makes ones bones feel soggy after a while.I used to stay in a place that (was) called Casa Gato:

...thought it was off Truman but I can't find it on Google maps - not sure what it is now (it's been a while). Worked for a computer game company - our first "office building" used to be a waterfront restaurant (actually, it was in the water, more accurately - off Eisenhower I think) we'd feed nurse sharks at lunchtime. Man I loved it there...

6. my son just came back from there on Tuesday
he had great weather and caught some fish...
I was there for a day on the 18th to visit my him since I was in Ft. Myers.
We ate at Pepe's Cuban food by Mallory square then went to the smallest bar, Uncle Tony's, Irish Kevins and Sloppy Joes. Had a beer at each of them!
then hopped back on the KW express for a 3 hour ride back!

I LOVE KW.....
looking to move down there or Ft. myers

9. It is like nowhere else.
I first visited for spring break years ago, went back home to graduate and then came back here for good.

Come on down!

It is expensive to live and the hurricanes can be a hassle, but it is all worth it.
