If you saw the movie THE LAST MAN ON EARTH (1964) *SPOILERS

please respond here.

I remember that movie as sad more than scary. Well, it was scary too, but really sad. The way the protagonist was so lonely, would barricade himself in his house at night and watch old home movies. When he said to the civil defense man, "My daughter's in there!" meaning about to go into the burning pit. When he looked through the microscope and found out the dog he'd found was infected with the plague.

Anyone else?
