1. Haven't you read World War Z yet?
Zombies are done rotting and don't smell all funky and shit. The survivors on the other hand.....

:)

10. Ever read a book called Warday?
It's very much the same style as World War Z, but following a limited nuclear exchange between the US & USSR (published in 1984). Really well done and worth the read.

11. As a matter of fact, I have read it.
I enjoyed it a lot. There was a sort of sequel called Nature's End that was ok, but it was far more in the sci-fi area.

12. Continuing with that thought ...
I recommend taking a look at Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

http://www.amazon.com/Pride-Prejudice-Zombies-Classic-Ultraviolent/dp/1594743347

excellent book if I do say so myself.

I think you could make a lot of the classics a whole lot more interesting by adding a zombie outbreak into the setting.

Great Expectations and Zombies, Crime and Punishment and Zombies, Romeo and Juliet and Zombies etc.

5. the Zombie Survival Guide instructs
you to burn the bodies after a siege. it also helps avoid contamination of gardens you may be growing in your "compound" or "stronghold", basically whatever structure you are defending.

this he recommends for both that and to do away with the smell.

6. That would be the worst thing?
Edited on Wed May-06-09 12:21 PM by Lucian
You mean the worst thing wouldn't be the zombies eating people while they're alive?

I mean, of all the things that are wrong with the zombie apocalypse, you chose the smell as the worst?

:P

7. I think the screams of the dying would bother me more than the smell...
but I'm a total weenie, too. And you can't shoot them to put them out of their misery, either. Gotta save the ammo!
