I have never heard of them. I would have thought them impossible. How do they accomplish this and how do they taste in comparison to the real thing (which I love immoderately and eat infrequently)?

20. Basically they are blended/mashed pinto beans.
They taste great, but I am vegetarian, so my expectations may be different. I also just love pinto beans, so appreciate them in any form. Look in your ethnic section at the grocery. Beans are a great source of b vitamins and fiber. :9

We had chicken marinated in lemon and spices, potato salad--see my thread looking for the best potato salad recipe, corn on the cob, a salad of tomato, cucumber and green onion and ice cream.

i'm having some esophageal/stomach/GERD problems at the moment and can only eat about 1/4 cup at one time, and it has to be soft :( and to think i once bragged about having a cast-iron stomach...

I grazed all night long. In between beers, I had some salad, then I had some spaghetti with tomato sauce, then I had a banana, then I had some beans with pesto. When I take a day off, I take a day off.
