Poll question: Friday night and you're lurking in the DU lounge. Why?

Me? It was my daughter's commencement. My head is still ringing and my wife came home and passed out naked (not interested in sex, don't go there). I'm trying to wind down and will probably pass out shortly.

I didn't include that in the poll because I think it is a relatively isolated case.

That's spread out over 4 years. They wanted her so badly, they came up with a random scholarship to cover the difference after all of the grants and other scholarships. She's looking at about $7K a year in loans.

She's self-motivated. We've actually had to put the brakes on from time to time. I was an over-achiever until about half-way through 11th grade and then I fizzled. I think she's a lot stronger than I am.
