Go to a Little League baseball game. I did this morning and really enjoyed myself. My kids are grown and my grand kids are too small to play yet but my neighbor (hes the manager) a few doors down asked me if I would like to attend one of his sons games this morning. It sure was fun. Little dusty and a little hot but watching these kids playing their hearts out was worth it all. I spent a total of one dollar for a bottle of water at the concession stand. That was the full cost. Cheap enjoyable couple of hours. I don't care for professional sports but I sure liked this. It made me feel like a kid again. Brought back many fond memories of my own childhood playing baseball.
Just going to a river and sitting there watching it can be entertaining too if you take the time to do it right.
It's been ages since I've been to a baseball game. Where I used to live, the field was within walking distance. Here, I'd have to drive and find someone to watch my aunt. I do miss baseball.
