Jen and Dave are my husband's friends from college and Jack was adopted right after we started dating 11 years ago.

2. Besides the "he was stoned" part, I loved it when Jen said:

"His eyes were kind of glossed over, very out of touch, I mean, he didn't seem to recognize me at first."

"When he was trying to walk, he was looking at his paw, and then looking at the ground and then trying to get his paw to reach the ground, but was unsuccessful."

Jenny and Dave are part of our crew and are just as lovely as they are hilarious.

After the vet bill, especially with a baby due, I'm sure they'll be more careful from now on.

4. Poor baby. BTW, we have strict leash laws here.

They're lucky they aren't looking at a fine in addition to the vet bills. I'd never let my dogs go off leash, especially at Seward Park. You never know what the dog will pick up. Glad all turned out well.
