The Happening
Hope there is a story. So far, 5 minutes into it, I am not overly thrilled by this flick.

:-(

7. great premise, but total failure in execution
M. Night makes Mark Walberg look like an amatuer actor.

9. The Happening (1967) was not as bad and at least had pseudo hippies
With Anthony Quinn and Faye Dunaway it should have been better, but it wasn't abhorent.

12. Watched a scene of that being filmed at the Miami Stadium.
It was the one where Anthony Quinn was in the phone booth and busted the glass.

13. We visited Miami right after the movie was made and the boat tour
Went past the house that was Anthony Quinn's.

I haven't seen that movie since it was in the theaters in 1967! I'll have to look for it on one of the movie channels.I know it isn't great, but it was such a period piece.

10. Saw it on one of the movie channels last week..
Edited on Fri Jun-12-09 02:41 AM by Mudoria
that's 2 hours of my life wasted.

I was a bit repaid by watching "The Flock", with Richard Gere and Claire Danes. I thought it was a good flick about the seamier side of humanity.

11. Hardly inspiring, but it deserves to exist if only for this:

(the original and best version of this seems to have left youtube, but this gets the idea across -- the movie SHOULD have been done this way)
