I don't touch the hard stuff....not my thing. I'm waiting for my first unemployment payment to come through in a few days. After being layed off from my job after working there almost nine years, I was, you could say, in a bit of shock..............I think I am still getting over that shock to this day

I'm just trying to figure out how I am going to pay my other bills with this unemployment check....I figured I am taking about a $110.00 a week hit from it ( that is from what unemployment is paying ) but I am looking for a job now, what that is I don't know....

but just the one that pays the bills. I just spent the last week explaining to the kids that I couldn't afford fruit until the end of the month. Financial stress sucks.

believe me, I do understand the horror of taking on boring, part-time jobs to make ends meet. When I was growing up my father forced his kids to work in the fast food industry, just so we'd know what we'd be dealing with if we decided to give up on our education. Amusingly, my shitty education qualifies me only to be a cheerful server at Wendy's. Go figure.
