Just so happens, he's a former neighbor, married 5 times, the cop at the school my wife teaches at and both kids went to. What a dumb fuck.

1. The girl was 15 in 2006?
That's not an "inappropriate relationship." It's rape.

2. Well, it sure ain't love. What this doesn't say is she was his son's girlfriend at one time.

JUNIOR HIGH??? Jesu k-rist???

"The girl was a student at Stillwater Junior High from 2006 to 2009 and she talked with Morris every morning at school, according to affidavits filed at the courthouse.

Stillwater Police Chief Norman McNickle said investigators believe Morris and the girl had an ongoing relationship since December."

5. I can't believe how stupid that cop must be.
He's a cop. Surely he hears about this stuff all the time. How in the hell did he think he would get away with it?

8. Yes!! It is!! And we know him!! And he was a neighbor!!
Seriously, the wife is just pissed. But a friend's wife was president of the PTA and she is very very upset. Violation of trust, he lied, etc. This all in all is a very upsetting occurrence and I make light of it out of frustration.

11. Isn't it great that we have cops in schools -"keeping our children safe".
Side issue here, but still. And I HATE the term resource officer - just call it what it is - the school cop.

Hi, fellow Okie! Lotsa crime in those Stillwater junior highs, eh?

It IS creepy when you know someone who's done something like this - My mom and dad had known a couple since all 4 were kids (even though my family moved a few hours away decades ago). Creeped them out 5-10 years ago to find out the guy had molested a couple of his daughters - this was found out when he started going after his granddaughters - EWWW. The wife *stayed* with the creep - my mom had been friends w/ her since grade school, but can't bear the thought of calling their house and having *him* answer the phone, so they've lost contact.
