3. It reminds me of this song, in a spiritual sense
Numb Linkin park
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQCE2iK6tG4

This is how it happened to me, I thought about free will and a heart of love, and thought why would God want me to just do what I am told, when he gave me a mind, a heart, a soul, and the ability to choose.

In some way I think people that try to 'do what God wants them to do'. end up bouncing back and forth, because they are still trying to figure out his ways based on their thoughts and heart. And they are trying to find what he wants, and not always able to know which side it is from. In some way, I think God wants us to think and feel, and when we do that, we do what he wants us to do. So I try to find where he is teaching me to think and feel, more then where he is telling some way to live or be.

Although I respect people that have traditions that honor God, and I understand traditions can be a way to find that place where they reach God. I don't think he wants to just tell us what to do, he wants us to figure it out with love and thought. Also traditions can give us things to help us when we are in the wrong frame of mind, if we think on the traditions and see if they are just and of love while in a good frame of mind.

That's how I think on it, and from that, I don't try to riddle out every thing I see, instead I run it by my heart, think on it a bit, and hope and pray that my heart and my mind, in my belief a gift from God, will more often then not lead me in the better paths, and have faith that if not things still are going to work out.

Even Grace fits into this, since I do not have to wallow when I figure out I messed up, instead I can try and learn from it. And continue in a non numb state, but with feeling and joy, and sometimes frustration, but it sorta works out in some way.

Its very hard for people to have perfect discernment and many times people chose to follow the most seductive or best for them, and in that get the wrong stuff. Sure people should be happy and have fun, and taking care of oneself is also part of that, but so is taking care of others.

5. their most moving (to me)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AJb4grys4w

Lifeboy

Swinging on the lifeline
Frayed bits of twine
And tangled in the remnants of the
Knot I left behind
And asking you to help me make it
Finally unwind

But God never listens to what I say
God never listens to what I say
So very (so very) hard
And you don't get a refund
If you overpray

And when the line is breaking
And when I'm near the end
When all the time spent leading
I've been following instead
When all my thoughts and memories are
Left hanging by a thread

God never listens...
Stranded on this slender string
The minutes seem to last a lifetime
Dangling here between the light above
And blue below that drags me down

But God never listens to what I say
God never listens to what I say
And you don't get a refund
If you overpray

13. 50,000 Miles Beneath my Brain
Ten Years After
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugZU4ITYkuw

I want to know you
I want to show you
I want to grow you
Inside of me

I want to see you
I want to free you
I want to be you
Inside of me

Love me 50,000 miles beneath my brain
Love me 50,000 times and then again
Can you love me with a thousand eyes?
Can you see right through my bones?
Can you kiss me with a thousand lips?
Can you melt a solid stone?
Can you hear me from a thousand miles
When you're screaming at the stars?
Can you pull me up to Jupiter
When I'm all hung up on Mars?
Burn my eyes with your flame
Let your world spin free
Let it go, baby
I'll do the same
All depends on me
Let it go
It's all the same
What with jewels that you can't see
Love me, love me, love me, love me, love me, babe
Bring it on home to me...

peace~

16. The Last Song - Miguel Hernandez
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Pm-cQ9xQnE

Painted, not empty:
my house is painted
in the colors
of great passions and tragedies.

The empty dinner table,
and the noisy bed will return
from the tears to which
they were taken.

Kisses will blossom on the pillows,
And sheets will rise over bodies
entangled like vines
nocturnal and perfumed.

Hatred will vanish
behind the windows.

Claws will be softened.

Give me hope, at least.

(Written in prison, from which he never returned)

20. Shakira - Hay Amores (Love in the Time of Cholera)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE7QgPS9vZs

Oh my love! I’d do anything for you
to have you for a second, far away from the world
and close to me
Oh my love! Just like the Magdalena river
which merges into the sea sands,
I want to be one with you.

Some loves become resistant to destruction,
like fine wines that improves with age,
the way my feelings for you grow ever stronger

There are loves that wait for winter and then bloom
and in autumn evenings turn evergreen,
just like the love I feel for you.

Oh my love! Don’t forget the sea,
which has seen me crying in the night
over the memories I have of you
Oh my love! Don’t forget the day
which separated your life
from this life that was my destiny to live

Some loves become resistant to destruction,
like fine wines that improves with age,
the way my feelings for you grow ever stronger

There are loves that wait for winter and then bloom
and in autumn evenings turn evergreen,
just like the love I feel for you.
