I am watching SNL, The Complete First Season.
Got the 2nd season also.

SNL used to be funny.

I remember staying home and watching the show on Saturday night.

1. yeah, I remember making sure I was near a TV on Sat. nights...
...so I could watch SNL during the first couple of years. I haven't watched it in many years-- but in fairness, I don't watch ANY television any more. What a wasted medium!

2. those are the best ones, those and the Eddie Murphy-era ones

the only thing I liked about the past 5? years (mostly I found SNL pretty much unwatchable) was Tina Fey.

5. The skinny lady was Laraine Newman.
I am having a good time.

Twenty bucks for all the complete shows isn't bad.

I will be getting seasons 3 and 4.

6. I loved the original cast & the Jon Lovitz, Nora Dunn, Dana Carvey cast in the 80s.

7. I've seen every episode to date
There's always at least one funny thing each show that makes it worth tuning in for, IMO. Season one and two were hilarious when I saw them live in my early teens.

9. I got the DVD for Christmas
and the memories! It was defiantly must-see TV at the time. On Monday at work, or school, you had to be primed on what was the best part.
