well, there is NO cancer...but I have two different areas in teh colon that have issues
will find out specifics when I see the gastro doc

probably taking maintenance drugs for the rest of my life

5. great news! areas with "issues", and medications for the rest of your life
yeah, might be unpleasant at times ( and then again, maybe not too much)...but it sure beats the heck out of having cancer. You must be enormously relieved, and I'm certain everyone here, myself included of course, that have kept you in their thoughts and prayers are too.

also was very thankful that the nurse used a tiny needle and got the IV stick with minimal pain on the FIRST time!

17. Phew! Cancer was definitely the worst of the possibilities. Glad that was ruled out! I've lived most
of my life with Ulcerative Colitis. It sucks at times, but it's still better than cancer.

I've been taking maintenance drugs for 25 years, you'll be fine.
Lost my mother to colon cancer many years ago....if only she had gone for tests...if only....
It is so curable.

28. I was suppose to have this procedure done last winter
I canceled one time because I wasn't ready and I was never able to get scheduled for another test..i called and called the clinic and begged them to call me back and they never did. I finally gave up and started to live with my symptoms again. I am going to go to a local doctor and have HIM schedule me for a test. They won't find anything though, and I will continue to suffer.. It really, really, sucks.

And yes, he does have to take a pill every day for the rest of his life! But hey, it works with no side-effects...
