Didn't get insurance when I got it.

8. You guys all stick together.
He just went out for a walk, presumably feeling like shit. I promise not to make him feel like crap when he comes home.

24. Make sure you give him an hour long shoulder massage after dinner.
I'm sure he is very stressed right now.

11. This wouldn't have happened if you had just . . .
Well, you know.

Hope it comes back after it dries out. On the plus side, if you've been with your current cell carrier for a couple of years and you like them, they can probably set you up with a brand new phone for next to nothing. I don't know if they'd be able to transfer your numbers and such, but then again for a duck torturer, they shouldn't do squat-ah.

18. It might still work after it dries!
This has happened to me twice before. Once a small child dropped it into a glass of soda when I wasn't looking, another time my SO accidentally left it in his pocket while it went through the wash. Same thing happened where I couldn't see the called ID, or anything for that matter. I was just about to buy a new phone when all the words magically came back.

34. I dropped my cell in the bay over the weekend
I spent 1/2 an hour fishing it out of the bay with a net (I knew right where it had fallen, it was in slow motion and I couldn't catch it, but I knew right where it was, sort of.)

My sis sent me this article about drying out phones

38. The rice is really supposed to work
Take the battery out and place everything in the rice to absorb the water. And you shouldn't even attempt to use the phone until it is thoroughly dry. Using it before it is dry, even though it may appear to work at first will completely damage it. We learned all of this the hard way.

Set the phone on vibrate if you can and drop it down his pants. If it starts to function again, you'll hear about it.
