2. My Seinfeld story. I had seen him around for years, the whole
stand up thing, they used to offer me free tickets when he was in Hermosa Beach and all, and I saw him around Hollywood, many times. I never sat thru' his routine.. I could never see anything funny about the guy or his routine.
So I never watched the tv show.
Til it was in reruns. Then I went nuts and had to see every episode. And it never occurred to me why til the last final 2 part? episode.
When it became clear that what I like about the show was how rotten they were. How they always had someone, at who's expense the humor was.
That's the thing about humor. It always has to be at someone's expense. Rodney Dangerfield was always his expense. (I don't get no respect).
Don Rickles was always at your expense. (You hockey puck).
So. Let me try it.

4. I'm sick of people who hype it like some revolution
"Its a show about nothing, a show about nothing!"

I'm sorry to break it down, but that is every sit-com ever.

7. It's not a show about nothing
It's a show about unwritten social rules, and what happens when those rules are broken.
