1. Yes. And when humans let me down, TV picked me back up.
TV is my friend.

Of course, that porn website is more than just a friend... :spray:

5. Actually, no.
It belongs to the hotel in which I am presently "living". And it has a really sucky channel lineup, which got even suckier when one of the SF stations (CW affiliate) was replaced with a screen reading "Congratulations! You have a DISH 500." :eyes:

9. Ha!! Me too! It's cause we've totally lost our television-ignoring skills.
I'm a total TV addict, even though I don't have one. It's not cause I'm counter cultural; it's cause I'm 12-stepping away from it

13. TV is seldom a satisfying experience for me for some reason, I feel like I've wasted time.

After binging for a few hours in some hotel, checking in on the zeitgeist, I always feel dirty, sad, and sometimes a little sick.

22. I travel a great deal, and become a channel-surfing moron when I
get in my room at night. It's not that there's anything good on, it's that there are SO MANY choices.

We have a TV, but no cable or reception of any kind. It's just for watching DVDs and videos.

8. I pwned my television about 20 years ago and never looked back.
Well, except for Sunday nights when I visit my parents so I can watch Mad Men.

23. There is a great line in The Manchurian Candidate.
The original 1962 film. Lawrence Harvey says, "There are two types of people in this world. Those who, when entering a room, turn the television on, and those who turn it off." I still remember that even after almost 50 years, and I've always wanted to be the second type. But sorry to say I never was.
