1. I thought they went out of business.
I didn't think anyone was ogling playgirl anymore.

5. Me too
but did anybody ever "read" Playgirl in the first place?

I saw it once when I was a kid. It had a horrible picture of Burt "I am the rugman" Reynolds with either his Johnson covered up or totally flaccid.

Ewww. :puke:

Levi Johnson? Tell me yer fecking joking right? That guy's hit rock fucking bottom, if that was even imaginable, after all being associated with the Palin circus family.

18. Burt Reynolds posed for Cosmopolitan in 1972
Playgirl was first published a year later.

3. The magazine is no longer printed
but there's still an online version.

I'm guessing it's something that appeals more to gay men.

8. Why the hell not?
They might still be in print if they did. Which would you rather look at? I'd prefer a stiffie myself and I'm pretty sure the gay men market would too.

22. Oh yes, the puffy cooter. LOL. So, you are saying, the point is
"no, we can't allow men to be seen as sex objects!!!"?

Hmm. Funny, I thought that would be the whole point of a magazine full of attractive, naked men..?

27. They had for several years, actually. The problem with PLAYGIRL always was
getting advertising money. It was estimated that for every copy purchased that about 5 women read them.

I don't care if you're gay, hetero, or what, that's just weird.

17. What is about poorly hidden stashes of crumpled porn in overgrown areas?
I'll never forget the time a friend and I walked the dogs off leash, and we stumbled upon a scattered pile of 9-month-pregnant-woman-porn. It warped my 19 year old mind.

16. My roommate bought a celebrity/holiday edition 1978
She bought it, but had not had a chance to read it (look at it). I confiscated it and put happy face stickers on all the good parts. What fun to watch her laboring over the stove, steaming those stickers off.
