I have some yardwork that needs to be done, great day for it..

It is 71 with a beautiful blue sky, and I can be outside.

Hoping everybody has a great day.

1. Sounds wonderful.
I'm determined to get out of this office and go for a walk today. Dunno how far I'll go, but I need to get outside.

Enjoy the chicken!

2. We had a great weekend here in NJ
Sunny, warm, shorts, t-shirt (at least until sundown), ribs on the grill. It was a good Sunday!

4. Wish I could share the chicken with all of y'all.
I have been working indoors for the past few weeks, it was killing me.

I love fall weather.

This is how to make beer can chicken, in a stove or grill.

Find a nice whole chicken and buy a really cheap can of beer.

Pour about 20 percent of the beer in a pot with bbq sauce, a little garlic doesn't hurt.

Stick the beer can into the bottom of the chicken and cook for about 2 or 3 hours.

The chicken cooks really moist and not dried out.

You can use the bbq sauce on the chicken when it is cooking if you like.

I have also cooked a small 10 lb. turkey this why, just a bigger can of beer.

I will be taking the dogs to the bayou in a little while, great day for a walk.:hi: :hi: :hi:
