I was on TV from the Austin march on Saturday

Oh my gawd! One of my co-workers came in this morning and informed me that she and her husband saw me on the news on Saturday night calling the prezeldent a maniac.

Any of the other Austin folks see it? She can't quite remember which station it was on.

And "Bush Lied Thousands Died. Terrorists Flew Bush Knew" on the other. (Thank you Will Pitt for that one.)

I also helped carry the bigger banner in the Austin march that had "Liar Liar Pants on Fire" on it. :)

I'm not holding my breath but we keep trying.

We had surprisingly few coutner-protesters. Only about 5 in Austin and about that many in Crawford later in the day. So maybe things are turning around down here.

I am so impressed they got that banner over the bridge. When did they do that. This banner was in the march with us. They obviously walked on IH-35 to get this up there. Right over the police nest.



No mention of our "rein in the mad dog police" in the crappy local paper, so I'm glad the TV at least carried it. Velma and I both yelled out "Fire Stan Knee" during the rally. And by the way there is this litte ACLU action all Austin DUers should take - I mean right now too. Hop to it:
