I'm not normally fond of remakes, but hot damn Clash of the Titans looks good!

I loved Harryhausen's work. They tried to get him to co-produce this movie but he declined.
Medusa's design remains somewhat faithfull to the original. I don't understand why they show the two titans so early though?

4. Art direction looks like a warmed over 300.

So we've got Zeus, Giant Scorpions, harpies, Medusa, The Colossus of Rhodes, Pegasus, and "the Kraken" yet somehow I feel underwhelmed.

It's all just commentary on him and Sophocles, with a little Sappho thrown in to get the kids off.

6. The Kraken looks pretty bad ass.

The big problem I'm sure this remake will have is that it will remove all the kitsch the original had. From the metal owl, to the stop motion monsters, to the laughable make-up on Calibos. It all combined to make the original a classic.

All the fancy CGI will turn it into a crap-fest, I'm afraid.
