Holy crap......a 500 calorie reduction a day can lead to 10 lbs a year???
Is that right??? with that rate, I'll have to wait 4 years to get back to my "smoking weight"..... :cry: :cry: :cry: it sure was a lot more fun putting that weight on.

Assuming the calorie burn rate remains constant:

3500 calories in one pound

3500/500 = 7 days to burn one pound.

365 days in a year / 7 days to burn one pound = 52 pounds in a year.

2. Reducing by 500 calories a day has always been the weight loss method I've used.
My diet is pretty static so my approach would always be to find 500 calories to reduce each day because that is a pound a week. Usually I would lose more than a pound a week.

I'm not called mouse for nothing. I LOVE cheese.
Look for low fat varieties and just take smaller portions.... but never, ever give up cheese!

5. Do it! I cut out almost all dairy and lost 10lbs with out trying! Chees has so much fat

plus it creats alot of mucous . Your skin will clear up too!

6. I cut out regular Coke (mostly), and lost about 20 pounds in 4 months without trying.
I stick to Coke Zero whenever I can. I think the stress of starting a new job helped. I've also been doing significantly smaller lunches than I used to.
