Vampires are so 1990's, The best potential jedi was a whiny brat who went bad, ninjas have been animae'd and video-gamed to death. Zombies are a contemporary monster who reflects the depersonalization and inhumanity we deal with on a daily basis. Romero and Savini in '12!

10. It's Jedi not Jedis!
Jedi keeps the same spelling with no "s" at the end, regardless of it being singular or plural. You don't say "fishes" so don't say Jedis. And capitalize it while we're on the subject.

have it your way, they suck any way. I mean come on, how the hell does the whole lot of them get wiped out? and then Yodas just frickin keels over and dies, becomes a ghost. Why the hell didn't the other ones become ghosts and just come back and kick some ass?

That was the SW geek in me seeing "jedis" again. :)

As for your question, Qui-Gon taught it to Yoda during the events of Episode III, and Obi-Wan shortly after. How he learned it is not clear. What's interesting is he discovered this, yet did not disappear himself. Hmm, George Lucas has some explaining to do...
