4. We are indeed far apart but it is nice to share with others when we can. We are both biologist with

our daughter about to do her Masters in Marine Ecology, not much in the way of jobs but satisfying as a hobby.

8. It's challenging to photograph an aquarium.

My old Canon digital died, so I went shopping and got an $89 Nikon Coolpix 10M, nothing fancy.

The autofocus reads the glass, not the items past the glass, so I stood away and took the pic at high res, then cropped the good part.

Let's hope my skills at this new hobby don't result in bunches of dead coral.

My clownfish has been happy and healthy for a few months, but the coral is new and has different needs, lighting and water chemistry.
