So who are you wearing tonight?
Have you ever been asked that?

Somebody once said to me "Nice coat. Whose is it?"

And I answered "Its MINE." Like she thought I stole it.

7. When my husband was working, he wore Joseph Abboud
And when we first met, I knew his clothes were designer so I asked.

Of course, I got to tell him that my entire wardrobe cost $100 (including the long wool coat that I was given by a friend). He paid more for his shirt than I did for my entire outfit. It was an interesting mind-shift for both of us. :)

That said, I still love Abboud's line and am glad Mr. Lukasahero can wear him well.

12. I'm wearing L.A. Air Line...
Edited on Sun Mar-07-10 10:52 PM by GReedDiamond
...because I freelance for them and get all my "designer brands" for free.

ON EDIT: This was meant to be a reply to the OP, but whatever. To the poster I accidentally replied to, I'm guessing you are too embarrassed to admit that you are wearing, wait for it...

..."Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier." I pray that I am wrong (although I don't really "pray").

If I am incorrect, I apologize, but I assure you: nothing you are currently wearing could be any worse than "Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier."

13. I have never been asked that.
People who know me know better. It's always Lands End or LL Bean. Tonight it's a Lands End PJ top with the piping ripped out of the neckline and LL Bean pants that have seen better days. Mismatched fleece socks. And lots and lots of cat hair. Probably more cat hair than anything else.

15. Richmand Brothers, fine-handed medium-blue 100% wool SUBTLE pinstriped "sharkskin".
The label in the pocket is dated "June 1969".

It was the best suit in the place, as is my wont.
And it's MINE- nobody elses. I googled the original owner-
he died in 1992.

Yes, I have been asked that- and I totally appreciate your question.
Only pretentious idiots ask "WHO are you wearing"...
That question would only make sense if an actual person
was clinging to my back.

And the ONE time a wealthy, pretentious idiot actually saw someone
clinging to me, she didn't ask "who I was wearing"...
she was all running in circles, screaming:
"Mom, what are you doing naked on top of my Prom Date? !!

Yeah, like I stole it.

This world would make a lot more sense if it weren't for all the PEOPLE.
