Puppy needs a home

I thought DU would be a good place to hand over this special little puppy who is now 7 months old to a special person here.




Her name is Nikko. She lives in Chicago. She is very funny, very energetic, and real joy. You rub her back and she rolls over for a pat on the belly. Totally submissive, not a biter.

She's free for anybody who is willing to take good care of her. Why am I getting rid of her? Well, she's not mine, but my niece's. My sister's mean landlord won't allow her family to keep the dog. The picture was taken a few months ago, when she was about 3 months old and we were hoping they could convince the landlord to let her stay. He's issued an ultimatum--they go or the dog goes--so Nikko needs a new home.

I have a dog, a retriever, and the two don't like each other. So, anybody who's interested, email me from DU and I will respond. It breaks our hearts to let her go but it has to be.
