Can anyone recommend a good VoIP service?
Something other than Vonage, Skype or Magic Jack? I posted this in the computer forum, but I don't know how many eyeballs will see it in there.

Any good suggestions?

1. MagicJack is probably the best deal of that genre
$20 a year for a phone line, that's pretty hard to beat.

I liked SunRocket better, but they went tits up in 2007 (which is how I ended up switching to MJ in the first place)

It's been reliable phone service about 95% of the time, which is more than I could say about my old cell phones or even the plain old landlines from years ago.

2. I need something reliable 100% of the time (other than during broadband outages)
It's going to be a business line, so that's why I don't want to go with Vonage, Skype or Magic Jack. I have Skype already, but the issues I've found with it are too much to overcome.

5. If you need 5 9's then you aren't going to get that with residential service
but you know that already :)

Minimum my company provides is 5 lines with a single T1 minimum bandwidth purchase (G.711)...We don't do residential

I wouldn't know who you could go to to get a single VoIP line with Business class-of-service, except maybe Verizon

8. Glad to help.
I wasn't certain that it would be a fit, but it's a great solution for us and our clients. I think I'm supposed to get a kickback if you sign up (kidding).
