Want To Get A Suprisingly Good Album?
Go pick up the greatest hits cd of Green Day. I just picked it up yesterday for $13 at BestBuy.

I never realized they had so many hits I like:

1. Longview
2. Welcome to Paradise
3. Basket Case
4. When I Come Around
5. She
6. Walking Contradiction
7. Good Riddence
8. Minority
9. Warning

This is good stuff if you like power pop/ or pop punk or whatever you want to call them.

Much better than the Prince greatest hits cd I picked up, which shocked me.

1. I always liked Green Day...
Didn't care that they sold out the punks, 'cause I'm a geezer-in-training (got the paper hat and everything!), and punks for me were in the late 70s-early 80s. I just liked the power pop/pop punk with a little musicality attached.

Plus it gives me a little street cred with my nieces and nephews.

2. Same here
They've been a fave since the album Nimrod. Will have to check out their albums before that, but my feeling is that I'd enjoy those, too.
