Wow, what the hell happened to Garry Shandling?
I've been watching my "Larry Sanders Show" DVDs recently, and today came across a Letterman clip of Shandling's October 2009 appearance.

One of the people posting comments on YouTube suggests "Okay, we've got multiple possible issues here: botox, plastic surgery, puffiness, ... something is up."

1. Just saw Iron Man 2 where he has a part.
Didn't recognize him at first. The years and the knife have not been kind.

2. That's why I did the YouTube search...Rolling Stone praised his role in Iron Man 2.
I always loved "The Larry Sanders" show...thought it was pure and consistent genius in action. It really saddened me to see him now.

3. I liked the show too. Edgy and very well written stuff.
Shandling has a great feel for self-deprecating humor without making me want to thump his melon like Gilbert Gottfried's schtick does. :)
