Snowboarders who park their asses in the fall line of a slope

I have no problem sharing the slope with boarders (I ski)

But I F'N HATE IT WHEN THEY PARK THEIR ASSES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FALL LINE SO I END UP BREAKING MY SPEED AND DODGING THEM!!!!!!

One of these day's I want to find out what it's like to ski over one....

1. They probably can't even conceive of the idea
that someone might be following the fall line down the hill.

2. Very true
In fact I doubt the words 'fall line' are in their vocabulary.

"Fall line? Huh? Is that some band thats playing tonight?"

5. I've come very close to hitting skiers who stand
at the bottom of a slope. I have hit skiers and boarders who decide to stop 10 feet below a blind kicker. It's not fair to single out boarders because skiers do the same thing, they just stand up instead of sitting. Us boarders don't have a choice, we have to sit down to put on our boards. That's just the way it is. Skiers need to relax. :)

Are dumbasses too...as well as any one who parks in the fall line.

Stupidity isn't limited to the style of fiberglass attached to your feet (foot).

I just notice there are a lot more boarders parked in the middle of a slope than skiers. I've never seen a skier stopped square in the middle of a slope, and to be fair most boarders pull to the side as well.

But when someone does park in the middle of the hill, it has always been a boarder. In one case the kids were passing back a bottle of shnaps (excuse me - is the chairlift not good enough for your party???)

And I'll admit - I am a ski snob. It is my dream to someday go ski Taos just because they don't allow boarders.
