4. Hahaa! I look at the site and low and behold...
Someone else had listed: "Peeling a banana. Opening from the stem is totally not the way to do it."

Well, I'm 58 and I only learned this same fact about three weeks ago!!!! I wasn't going to tell anyone!

12. How to prepare a whole mango into something you can actually eat.
Used to peel it, then slice it. All wrong, too much work. Halve it, seed it, score the insides and invert each half. A lot less work, a lot less waste, and a hell of a lot less time.

Check out this video I just found. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvLdPjpELyU&feature=related

This guy demonstrates a pretty cool trick with a spoon first, and then he demonstrates what I was talking about. I don't put quite so many scores in the grid because I like bigger chunks, but whatever makes your boat float. When looking for this, I just found that some people are calling what I do the Hedgehog Method. I can see that - it looks sort of like a hedgehog when inverted.

Enjoy!

And I wish I'd known 40 years ago what I know now about office politics....

22. I snap with the wrong fingers...
Most people use the thumb and middle finger but I use the ring finger and thumb. It's just the way I learned it. I can't get any sound out of the other fingers.
