10. This is one very lucky bird!

It flew in front of us while we were traveling about 70 mph in a big old Freightliner (that's an 18 wheeler).

My husband and I go camping in the Los Padres every February - we got married there 2 years ago. Finally stopped at the mission too - we'd been past it a million times but never stopped. Very beautiful. And there's an old organ in there that was made by the Estey Organ Company in my hometown of Brattleboro, Vermont - very cool to find that.
