1. I voted for the bad dubbing..
..because that's what I most remember. But, being a hetrosexual male, I must say that the skimpy costumes on some of the female cast members in those movies might very well have been my first introduction to arrousal.

Particularly when they did one of the later Hercules films, after Steve Reeves had quit the series.

JOEL: I dunno, guys. Allen Steel (?) just doesn't cut it as Hercules.

CROW: Yeah, he's no Steve Reeves.

GYPSY: Steve was a lot shinier!

By the way, the above exchange is a paraphrase. :)

I love the moment in any given Hercules film when he realizes that the heavens are arrayed against him and cries out something like: "I've been tricked by the gods!" in some dramatic way.

3. cant remember the n ame
butone of those movies with steve reeves had the classic scene of buildings collapsing on people - and in one scene a huge boulder hit somebody and bounced off!!!!
