Drinking in WI....
OK, it reinforces negative stereotypes about my state, but in my personal experience (FWIW), I find it to be kinda accurate and really funny (every old timer that I know takes their Brandy Old Fashioned very seriously ;) )

4. I'm over near Madison right now in Portage at the Petro
I was sitting in the restaurant today and even the truckers from Wisconsin were talking beer even though they can't legally have any on the truck.

10. my friends always tease me that my Irish ancestry makes me
especially suited to living in WI but then I have to point out that it's all the damn Germans and Norwegians who settled WI that laid the groundwork for the booze culture of WI :P

13. I'm not a Madison native but since my dad lives there and my siblings
both went to school there (I failed to get in so I ended up at Ripon college :P ) I would suggest starting out just about anywhere on Willy (Williamson) Street like The Crystal Corner Bar or the Wisco or The Weary Traveler and work your way from there :toast:
