I hurt myself today, to see if I still feel...

What have I become, my sweetest friend, everyone I know, goes away in the end...

2. I'm not pumping my own thead. It just brings tears to my eyes. So emotional. As he was dying.
Death is a part of life. But man, he was right there at the end doing this. An honest performer. I think you only find that in country. And maybe metal. Metal is honest, good metal is. But this guy, Johnny Cash. This guy was honest. I never knew him during his years on top. And he finished, like a trooper. Like only an honest man could. And now he's gone. Just like we all will be, with the passage of time....

I just, it seems like there is something I need to express here, and I just can't put my finger on it. Not today, anyway.

I drink a toast to you, Johnny Cash, may you find love and freedom in the next world...

3. There is one counterpart In underground hip hop
Detroit's own J Dilla literally finished his final album, DONUTS, on his death bed. It's a beautiful album, and out here of the margins of the underground community, it's a BFD.
