3. 'But-tuching' -- much more common than you might think. (DIAL-UP WARNING)

5. Okay, variation on the theme here...
Used to have a friend who had both a three-year-old and a young Golden Retriever, about nine months old. The little boy had a straw cowboy hat that had a rubber band attached to go under his chin. The puppy being a puppy, they came in one day to find he had more or less EATEN the hat. The vet said he seemed fine, to watch him for a few days and see what, well, passed.

Unfortunately the three-year-old watched closer than the grownups did. One day he realized there was a little something protruding from the other end of the dog--yep, it was the rubber band. The kid grabbed it, pulled and pulled, (as Mom, who was there, realized what was going on and shrieked) and let go. The dog went THROUGH a living room window and was eventually chased down, amazingly none the worse for wear.

So don't tuch the but, and definitely don't grab anything sticking out of it and snap!
